Alexis is an American comedian and MC living in London. In
just over two years in comedy, her likable, confident and quirky persona and
her natural skill for performing has made her a new favourite on the stand-up
scene. Her irreverent, and sometime silly, story-based comedy explores the best
bits about Britain from the still slightly rosy tinted glasses of a used-to-be
American with the odd crass joke and one-liner thrown in for good measure.
Alexis’s made her solo stand-up debut in the 2014 Adelaide
Fringe Festival, where she performed to sell-out crowds. The same show, ‘An
American’s guide to being like, totally British” sold out its full run at the
Edinburgh Festival later that year and earned a four star review. She was a
finalist in the Comedy Knights Fresh Comedian Competition 2014 in addition to
being a finalist in both the 2014 and 2013 Comedy Virgins Max Turner
Competition and a semi-finalist in the 2013 Funny Women Awards.
